La Mère Poulard proposes a range of quality biscuits made from secret family recipes, based on a hundred year’s of know-how and experience. With no additives nor artificial flavors, non-GMO, all the ingredients originate from France.
In 1888, Annette Poulard opens her inn in the heart of the medieval city of Mont Saint Michel to accommodate pilgrims and gourmets of the world. For more than 50 years, she cooked and baked for her visitors. Recognized for her immense talent and her 700 recipes, Annette Poulard was awarded the honorary title of "Mère", a rare distinction given to women chefs for their cooking capabilities and contributions to French gastronomy.
La Mère Poulard has been baking greatness since 1888 with natural ingredients such as eggs and butter. Then, after opening her restaurant, she carried on baking daily her famous Butter Biscuits for the great pleasure of her customers and the pilgrims.
