Follow our easy steps to perfectly cook your duck magret in sea salt
Ingredients:
- 1 Duck breast
- Rosemary
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
- Star anis
Cooking steps:
*Preheat your oven at 200'C
1. On a cold duck breast, cut the back skin with a criss-cross or parallel pattern
2. Mix salt, pepper and star anise and add to a pan
3. Place the duck breast on back skin and add rosemary to it, cook at medium heat for 3 min.
4. Remove salt excess and put it back to fire. Add pepper and butter to the pan, continue cooking the breast on both sides for another 2 minutes.
5. Place the duck breast in your oven for 6 minutes at 200'c
6. Take it out and leave it to rest for 5 minutes.
7. Cut in slices and serve it with roast potatoes or cooked figs.
